Not a huge post, but...

It's almost Christmas! :D

Personally, Christmas is my favorite time of year. It resonates something of a magical feeling in me, and besides, everyone seems to just be that much happier around the Christmas season, so you might say I feel some kind of way about Christmas.

For the sake of posting something blog-related, though, I will say I'm that much closer to starting school! I just finished my public speaking credit, and I will be registering for more classes for next term. Also, it was roughly a week ago that my 4 1/2 year mark of being in the Army passed. That means... I only have a year and a half to go! Huzzah! I don't plan to take this time lightly, though, there's much work to be done in preparation for my transition to student life.

It's a bit early, I know, but I've decided that my new year's resolution is to make at least one piece for my portfolio per month. It's something that I've been slacking on, and I need to get my head in the game, so I'm really going to try and focus.

Also, in case you were wondering, my favorite Christmas specials are the Grinch and Mickey's Christmas Carol. And A Christmas Story, though I'm not 100% if that counts as a special, since it's a feature-legnth. :/
